Yes, And… Laughter Lab to host IT’S FALL YALL! A Comedy Show in Los Angeles & New York City

The Yes, And… Laughter Lab (YALL) – a competitive comedy incubation lab that sources, trains, and builds industry and social justice networks for leading and emerging diverse comedy writers and performers – announced a series of comedy shows open to the public: IT’S FALL YALL! A Comedy Show. 

IT’S FALL, YALL! is a series of stand up comedy shows featuring members of the Yes, And… Laughter Lab community of creatives. Get tickets here.

The first show in the series takes place in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 24 at Dynasty Typewriter at 7:30pm. The show will be hosted by Jenny Yang (Last Man Standing) will feature sets from Dylan Adler (Late Late Show with James Corden), Becky Braunstein (Unprotected Sets), Meredith Casey (Comedy Central), Woody Fu (The Other Two), Mohamed Kheir (Turning Point), Lorena Russi (Pause with Sam Jay), and Alex Song-Xia (Ricky & Morty). The second show in the series takes place in New York City on Thursday, October 26 at Caveat at 7:00pm. The show will be hosted by Gabe González and will feature D’Lo (Bros), Ayanna Dookie (2 Dope Queens), Negin Farsad (Fake the Nation), Jenny Gorelick (Late Night with Seth Meyers), Katie Hannigan (The Late Show with Stephen Colbert), Jeff Hiller (Somebody Somewhere), Milly Tamarez (Wait Wait…Don’t Tell Me), Atheer Yacoub (No Fly List), and Shatha Yas (Armory Comedy). Co-created in 2019, and co-directed by the non-profit innovation lab and research center Center for Media & Social Impact (CMSI) at American University and creative agency Moore+Associates, the Yes, And…Laughter Lab is designed to introduce diverse comedians to the entertainment industry, social justice organizations, philanthropists and activists who can help bring their work into the entertainment marketplace. The program has trained and continues to work with over 180 artists, a majority of which are people of color and women.
